The vocals range from a slower vocal performance to a louder, more shouty vocal performance. The lead vocals by both Layne Stanley and Jerry Cantrell throughout work really well on here. The songs throughout are very grungy and they are amazing in my opinion. Songs like “Junkhead” starts off with this slow, haunting vibe throughout it, before it goes into a bit of a less haunting instrumental, while songs like “Rooster” features some slower parts in the verses, and it also has some heavier moments throughout the song. The instrumentals are amazing! Songs like “Angry Chair” features this aggressive vibe throughout the album, while songs like “Rain While I Die” features an awesome guitar riff in my head. It is mixed well and you can hear everything for the most part, though the vocals can be a bit hard to hear at times. But, I decided to check this album out and this album is amazing in my opinion! But, besides those, I was not super familiar with their discography. I am familiar with songs like “Man In The Box”, which was amazing, “Rooster”, which was amazing in my opinion and is now one of my favorite songs from them, and “Would?” which was also amazing in my opinion and which are also now one of my favorite songs by them.

So, this album is amazing! Alice In Chains are a band who I have definitely heard about before, but have only heard a few songs from.
